once during seventh grade back in Des Moines i was walking to school in 4º F, and right next to University Avenue, was a frozen cat on its back, legs up, with the open-mouth attack face full on! it was great! obviously the cold and rigor mortis had worked in concert to stiffen the little puss, but we wondered which had acted faster at that temperature.
