cycling along the berlin-spandauer schifffahrtskanal this morning i spied the wasserschutzpolizei casting off from their mooring and was amused to see one of the two officers on board sporting a red mohawk. though perhaps it was only a sort of water safety strategy....
I remember going along to a Gay-Pride-type event and I'm sure the Polizei had put their prettiest boys on duty that day. And do you know that those police trousers can actually be unzipped from the bottom and folded upwards, so lots of them were wearing police shorts. Live porn. Which isn't the only reason I like Berlin (love might be pushing it), but it helped.
